Chapter of Medical Assistants

All chapter meetings will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm every second Friday of the month. The meetings are held in the A & B education rooms of the hospital in the concourse level next to the cafeteria. Unfortunately, the hospital does charge a maximum of $6.00 for parking. If you do not want to pay for parking and choose to walk, you can park at the parking lot where Pet Boy’s is, but that is a long walk. We use to park at the 7737 Southwest Memorial Professional II Building parking lot, since there was no charge after 8:30 pm. Now the parking attendant stays until 10:00 pm, so this will cost our members to pay for parking fee of $6.00. Unfortunately, we would like for the parking to be free, but our chapter has no control over this. Do not park at the Wellness Center because your vehicle will be towed away. Our meeting room is free, so at least our chapter can save on that.

The chapter is here to help you, but we can not do it alone. Your dues pay for you to receive a free CEUs every month. Why not take advantage of that and make an effort to be a part of an organization that will strengthen your abilities as a Medical Assistant.
